Manifesto

Preamble

We believe that playing is thinking out loud with the body. XYMYX was born to remind us that every decision opens a world, that unchecked power becomes blind, and that living alongside other wills is not an obstacle but the very stage where meaning appears. We do not play to escape reality: we play to see it in a different light. XYMYX does not see the other as an enemy to be destroyed, but as an indispensable interlocutor. Without the presence of the other, there is no dialogue, no game.

1. The Simultaneity of Life

Reality does not unfold in turns. Decisions intertwine, collide, correct themselves. XYMYX affirms that living demands anticipating the other without denying them, holding several hypotheses at once, and accepting that uncertainty is not noise but the raw material of thought.

2. The Shape of Conflict

Every encounter of forces leaves traces. Conflict is not a flaw in the system; it is its very geometry. XYMYX recognizes that collision is not synonymous with destruction but with discovery: in touching boundaries, patterns, responsibilities, and unseen options emerge.

3. The Ethics of the Limit

Not everything possible is advisable. XYMYX holds that every act of power demands a pause: to stop, observe, reframe. Limits do not diminish freedom; they orient it. True strength is not to advance always, but to know when and how to advance.

4. The Responsibility of Ones Own

At times, we wound ourselves with our own hands. XYMYX reminds us that error is not shame; it is teacher. Self-criticism does not destroy identity; it refines it. Owning what is ours —without excuses— is the condition for creating common sense.

5. The Beauty of Understanding

Understanding is an aesthetic act. XYMYX celebrates the clarity that moves us: when an idea fits, the mind breathes. Beauty is not decoration; it is the sign that a just form has been found among many possibilities.

6. Community and Conversation

Thinking together does not mean thinking the same. XYMYX calls for a community that debates without humiliating, disagrees without breaking, and transforms disagreement into fertile conversation. The common is not imposed; it is woven.

7. Time, Rhythm, Silence

Haste clouds judgment. XYMYX vindicates rhythm: alternating intensity and calm, risk and care. Silence is not emptiness; it is space for vision. Every worthy decision has passed through a moment of listening.

8. Transcending Victory

Victory is but an instant; learning is a journey. XYMYX values the trace left by every process: how it changes the way we attend, dialogue, and relate to power and to error. Victory is valid, but it is not the ultimate goal.

Commitments

  • To meaning: design experiences that illuminate the human condition, not just skill.
  • To care: turn error into opportunity and pause into a tool.
  • To plurality: honor different styles of thinking and deciding.
  • To practical truth: what we affirm must be lived, not just proclaimed.
  • To beauty: seek forms that are clear, just, and moving for shared understanding.

Here, it is not about annihilating the other—for without the other there is no game—but about learning together, discovering ways of thinking that emerge precisely because there is an other who challenges us.

Invitation

If you recognize in XYMYX a mirror of how we live—decide, limit, converse—this manifesto is yours. Use it to create spaces where power finds measure, conflict finds form, and thought finds community. We do not promise certainties; we promise light on what matters.
